Understanding the Credits System in ChatUML
ChatUML implements a credits-based system to manage resource usage for each user.
How Does It Work?
- Each user is allocated an initial number of free credits upon signing up.
- With every user request to the ChatUML AI assistant to perform an action like creating or editing a diagram, a fixed cost in credits applies (determined by the chosen AI model).
- As the conversation unfolds and the diagram takes shape, credits are deducted following each user's turn.
- Credits serve to equitably distribute computing resources among all users.
- Users can purchase additional credits as required.
The credits system guarantees an optimal experience for all users while enabling ChatUML to adapt efficiently to demand. Users are advised to use their credits wisely by crafting succinct, well-defined requests.
Additionally, you have the option to modify the diagram using the code editor instead of sending an AI request if you prefer making small adjustments yourself.
Cost of Each Request
The cost for each request varies depending on the chosen AI model:
- GPT-3.5 Turbo 16k: 1 credit per request
- GPT-4: 5 credits per request, and a minimum account balance of 100 credits is necessary to utilize this model.
- GPT-4 Turbo 128k: 5 credits per request, and a minimum account balance of 100 credits is necessary to utilize this model.
